x: Hey, I have this skirt, and I think it's too long. I want to shorten it. Can you help me with that?

y: Of course. I can definitely shorten the skirt for you. How much would you like it to be shortened?

x: Just about two inches should be perfect.

y: Great! I'll make sure to lengthen it correctly. By the way, I noticed your shoes need some repair. Would you like me to take them to the cobbler when I deliver your package?
